How do I determine which salary schedule to use when budgeting new
positions?
You may use the Class Plan alphabetical listing available on DPM's website at the Budget Instructions and Policies Manual issued by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). The website listing includes the salary Schedule ID each position classification uses. Salary Schedule "N" is used for all positions not eligible for a premium rate and Salary Schedule "O" is used for positions that are eligible for a premium rate.

Will I be eligible for a pay increase if I am transferred to
another position assigned the same pay grade?
No, if an employee transfers from one position to another in the same grade this is a lateral transfer and no pay increase will occur.
